TerryDonald E. Teeter has passed

Dear friends,

The Founder of the Ambrosia Society, Donald E. Teeter, passed away on early Monday morning (Oct. 29th, 2012), after several weeks of heart complications.

Don's work will continue through all of us. The Ambrosia Society will continue on with Don's legacy, with the blessings of his family:

"...It [Ambrosia Society] was his passion and mission and should not end with his life. So, please do continue the website and sharing his work with our blessing."

An All-Day Memorial for Don Teeter will be held at Gardens of the Ancients on Monday, November 5th, 2012. All are welcome to come visit.

I will write a post concerning the Ambrosia Society soon.

Sad news! What an extraordinary soul...I regret not getting to know him better. My condolences to those of you who worked closely with him as a friend and teacher. In my experience people can carry on teaching from beyond--although our culture doesn't school us in these matters. A mentor of mine passed a couple of years back very unexpectedly--it was so strange, because our pet subject had always been psychic matters and communications from beyond, and here all of a sudden he of all people passed over.. I almost shut him out of my mind for an entire year, believing that to try communicate would tie him back to the earth plane and that he was meant to leave us behind for another journey.--But then one day he contacted me! Naturally I was very concerned that it may be some mischievous, perhaps malicious spirit impersonating him etc etc.. I even (perhaps still) suspected the magician par excellence Amanita itself taking me for a ride, but there it was: so very much just like my friend! What followed was an extraordinary couple of years--both very rewarding and very frustrating--of collaboration with my discarnate friend on various esoteric matters, telepathically aided by Amanita muscaria (perhaps another reason for deserving the title 'herb of Immortality'?)
May Don and his legacy live on :-)

Thank you for all the kind words. I sincerely hope you're right, and that Don's spirit will stay with us and help the Ambrosia Society continue with his work.

It will be a lot of work, and require help from all of us. If its meant to be, we will have no shortage of help and volunteers :)

Let's do as much as is necessary to not only continue with Don's work, but help organize the Society into the vision that Don had for the Anbrosia Society. We need local chapters setup across the country (and world)...we must go over ad beyond the current state that the Ambrosia Society is at. We need video and photo tutorials for making ambrosia and bread. More frequent newsletters/monthly postings. I believe now is the time to manifest and create the type of society that Don always imagined.

It will take help from all of us, members and non-members; any and everybody interested in furthering Don's work and experiments with the Sacrament.

Anyone who has the same passion and/or has time and help to contribute, please contact me at [e-mail removed] Whether you're a member or not.

"Don's passion and mission should not end with his life."

If we all work together and everyone pitches in whatever amount of help they can afford, we can bring the vision of Donald Teeter into reality! :)

-Terry

I am so sad to learn of this.

I read Don's wonderful book 'Amanita Muscaria Herb of Immortality', may his vision and passion and this society live on.

It's very sad news and kind of a shock also.
I will always be grateful for the information Don revealed to us about Fly Agaric. To me Don was a Hero, a true pioneer in his time.
While some so-called myco-experts have disputed some of Don's work, I have found it to be in accord with what Ancient, higher authorities have indicated, part of the multi-coloured tapestry of practical Philosophy.
Time may tell of the true relevance of Don's teachings.

I couldn't agree more. Thank you for the beautiful words. It sounds like you truly have a grasp on the concept that Don envisioned.

Amongst our many daily talks/conversations/discussions, Don mentioned numerous times that he believed his and our (The Ambrosia Society) work wouldn't be truly recognized and appreciated until long after we were gone :)

Don was great man with an incredible amount of patience...he never rushed things "do it right or don't do it at all...you have all the time in the world" :)

Thank you :)

This is sad news. I never had an opportunity to meet him in person although had a little guidance as
most of us here have. I hope we can keep his work moving forward.
I wish his family much love and respect,

B

I am sad to hear this. I spoke with Don once over the phone about shipping the first order I ever placed. I remember his voice being very deep. I would like to do everything that has to do with the Ambrosia Society. My desire is to get actively involved and that is my ambition. I would do anything for the good of Ambrosia Society. I love it, and Don will be remembered and I thank him for this. Though I know very little for I gather where I do not sow. I remember when I first got my book the herb of immortality it was a paper pamphlet with a pipe. I didn't believe it and I threw the book away thinking it was false doctrine and I kept the pipe. I would of like to have gotten to know him just a little bit. How far I came from not knowing to knowing. To having no knowledge to having much. With no wisdom to my cup overflows. I have struggled to keep the faith and I've been persecuted for it and unable to even keep my own bread without it being confiscated and thrown away. For being to poor to have my own place to keep. But I am sealed now and it is finished! Y, and because Don planted the Seed in me and through faith it produced works and fruit. Romans 9:32 Why? Because [they did] not [seek it] by faith, but as it were, by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumbling stone. Romans 9:33 As it is written: "Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense, And whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame."
