After discussing different possibilities. Don put some of our theories to the test.
Thus far,
Don has successfully grown Amanitas on Apple Juice, Orange Juice, Pineapple Juice, and you might not believe this: A bunch of grapes!
He threw a bunch of grapes, still on the vine, into a large glass jar and sprinkled some AM flakes on top, and the mycellium started by growing down the stems and into the grapes... the mycellium is actually bursting out of some of the grapes.
Don and Neil also just finished a time lapse of an Amanita Stem Resurrecting... it's incredible.
I will post pictures of the experiments and time lapse after a couple more weeks of letting them grow.
