RedbeardAlright, People

So here it goes:

Humans have a symbitotic relationship to mushrooms. According to one anthropologist's theory, it was mushrooms that were the catalyst to our evolution. Suppose we were animal-like entities before we became what we are now, split-brain creatures with free will. Suppose we lived like animals, we lived by instincts and intuition with a constant communication with the Divine. Then one day, we began eating concious-expanding mushrooms, which made our minds evolve, giving us thought, communication, spirituality. One might also refer to this time of leaving our animal-like instincts to become human, as the same story as The Garden of Eden. Or you could refer it to the Shaman's stories of "the great fallout" when humans seperated from the Divine. Either way, it's all there. Eating the fruit of the "Tree of Knowledge", God said, "You can't do that. You cant just have the knowledge...you must go experience it."

Amanitas were revered as a God or Prophet sent from God by so many ancient cultures. Why is this so? Because the experience one can have after ingesting amanitas can be so profound. Taking LSD or Psilocybes, your conciousness is thwarted beyond one's comprehension. One may gain insight during the 'trip' but most revelations are made afterwards, when one can apply what they saw and felt during the vision to the world where there concious mind dwells (in Samsara).

This is not the case with Amanitas. During an amanita 'trip' (I refer to them as experiences), one can travel as far or even further than where Lucy or Psillys can take them, however... you remain lucid and cognitive the entire time, making the experience (in my opinion) so much more profound and compelling.

I don't think I need to elaborate on the fact that we are nearing our next evolution. If you're here on Tribe, you already know.

We all have different paths in life, each one as important as the next. My life has followed sacraments as prophets sent from God. Until recently (my discovery of the many wonderous capabilities of Amanitas), I have been lost on this certain path. I have tried many sacraments, entheogens, and even drugs. I now know that I have an obligation (more or less an agreement I made with God before I incarnated in this life) to spread the word of this new, rediscovered secret of our anscetors. Remember, Amanitas were treated as a God in the Rig Vedas, ancient book of hymns which archaeologists date back AT LEAST to 4,000 b.c.,. However, the indiginous people around indo-europe (from eastern europe to India, including the middle east) claim the Rig Vedas to be 400,000 years old, around the same time that modern Hindus say the Ramayana was written. If this is true, then these texts, this Divine knowledge, predates the current Matrix we are in. Remember in The Matrix, there was five Matrices before Neo?

Everyone on Tribe more than likely knows about 2012. The year that the Mayan Calendar ends. Those of us who understand that it doesn't mean life will cease to exist, know that it simply means we begin an entierly new cycle... or, Matrix.

There has to be a Divine purpose for the knowledge of Amanitas being hidden from us for so long, only to pop back into play as we near the end of our current cycle.

Can I please get some input from everyone regarding this post?

This is something that I am very serious and passionate about. I have plans to travel across the country this summer, bringing amanita wine and bread to as many people as I can, in the widest coverage possible.

I would love to see this tribe become more intimate, everyone getting to know everyone. Sharing experiences, recipes, Divine thoughts, thoughts of the Divine. I'm hoping to know everyone in this tribe on a personal level, so that this summer, I have places to bring the wine, and share it with as many people possible... I'll be like Johnny Appleseed, only with Ambrosia instead.

Peace and love to everyone.

these matters are indeed of great interest. it would be good to manifest a gathering. alas we are scattered on this planet... where is our center?

jame...Re: Alright, People

i'm so in T doe. your post resonates with me on a very deep level.

i have heard of aminitas refered to "one footed ones". i have only one foot. lost the other.

my path is leading me to more and more divine experiences.

i'm all about sharing and raising everyones consienceness. this is the time.

what is your reccomendation? buy online? wait to meet you?

be my guide.

Dion...Re: Alright, People

Hi T, Thanks for your post. I can't help but also resonate with the spirit of it. I think some people are going to believe you and some won't, even with some kinds of proof (as with Wasson or Heinrich, or look at Allegro who was a distingusihed linguist and translator of the Dead Sea Scrolls but lost his job after coming forward with his findings). It's just too threatening to some people's belief system to accept. Some others will believe you even if you lack any kind of proof and some will be in the middle. It's these people on the fence who I think it's worth being careful with, getting our facts straight and not overstating things. Sometimes just one or two unsupportable 'facts' can make our entire point worthless to many people. I apologize if I sound picky, and I'm not sure if it was a typo, but 4000 BC is pretty old for archeologocal evidence of the Rig Veda. As far as written sanskrit (the language of the Rig Veda, for any readers who may not know) goes, the earliest I've seen definite record of was 1500 BC (3500 yrs. ago), and that was pushing it back further than it was before. I've heard rumor of some evidence that sanskrit may have existed from around 5000 BC but nothing definite. I'm not saying there wasn't a much more ancient oral tradition of it or even that written sanskrit isn't much older, and I'd be interested to see any support that it was. You certainly may have seen findings I haven't. Not that it really matters exactly how old they are I just think that if you want educated people to believe you it might be important to have support for the non-speculative parts of what you're sharing (although the speculative part is certainly just as important if not moreso). The cynics won't believe it anyway but some of the skeptics might if you (continue to?) state it in a well supported way. As I said some people will believe you anyway regardless of your support but if they repeat 'facts' that other people can show are wrong (from what I've seen the earliest proven writing of any kind only goes back to less than 4000 BC in Sumeria and was not IndoEuropean) then they look kind of foolish and the baby may get tossed out with the bath water. There's already alot of strong evidence that I think is supportable yet unbelievable enough for most people. The fact that the 1st religious hymn of recorded history (Rig Veda) has those things to say about soma is pretty amazing in itself. I think the fact that most of these texts are mystical and cryptic makes it an even shakier ground and calls for more exacting care if we want to try to prove it. If you're preaching to the choir (as you may be here) than of course even dreams and prophecy are not unreasonable

(and may be quite appropriate and appreciated).

Just to clarify, I mean this as someone who basically believes in what you're doing (or what I know of it, anyway) and has had some bumps himself from trying to cast pearls before you-know-who.

Thanks for your post, tribe and efforts- D

15,000 YRS AGO WAS THE LAST ICE AGE. MAYBE THE VEDAS DID EXIST IN PREVIOUS AGES OR EVEN OTHER PLANETS, ETC , THOUGH ...

RedbeardRe: Alright, People

Thank you, Dionysus, for your post. It's true, people will be sceptical... and I hope so! I would much rather people be sceptical than to just accept what I have to say as fact. I believe that's why we are all here (Tribe)... cause we're sceptic of the world around, and the society that has been presented to us. You are very correct, there will be many hurdles in proving these discoveries, but that's what makes it mystical, makes it interesting, makes it fun :)

Those who find the even the smallest amount of truth in what I'm doing and rapping (not preaching) about , I believe they will have a chance at experiencing this Divine sacrament and where it might take them. Those who need more proof, can continue the research for themselves, and I feel confident that their research will lead them right back to where I'm at. If not, I sincerely hope they do find what they are looking for. That they do find what they need to help catalize (is that a word?) them towards a divine, concious evolution.

Not everyone can be unplugged, I think we all know this. However, the more that can and do (by any means), the more magnanimously our Mother and Father can shine upon and through us.

Namaste.

Dion...Re: Alright, People

Glad to read it, T! Please keep us posted as to how it goes. Thanks Again.

RedbeardRe: Alright, People

Glad you joined, Dionysus! Have you started reading the book yet?

lotusiteRe: Alright, People

I can's speak for D, but I read it (Teeter's new one), or almost all of it, anyway. He certainly adds alot of stuff other authors left out, esp. on the cup culture, holy grail, living bread and new wine.

Dion...Re: Alright, People

Hi T, The lotus wrote my thoughts exactly. I think it's a fairly monumental book.
